The Bertha-Hewitt School Board will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 5:30 in the Media Center to discuss possibly transitioning to a 4-day School Week, amidst a couple other agenda items. The Public is welcome to attend any board meeting; if the School Board directs administration to look further into this process - there will be additional public meetings to help get input from the public to make the best decision for our students, families, staff, and communities.

The 2024 MSHSL Class A State Speech Tournament will take place on Friday, April 19 from Shakopee High School. Please join us in congratulating all of our speech students on a great season and wish our state speakers luck on Friday!"

Bear Bites
Bertha-Hewitt's ECFE classes are every Tuesday from 4:00-5:30pm and 6:00-7:30pm at the Early Childhood Center, enter Door 10.
Open to families along with their children ages 0 to 5. ECFE is a free program provided by Bertha-Hewitt in collaboration with Freshwater Education District. Sibling care provided for ages 5-12 (school age) so parents can bring preschoolers.

Families can register and attend at anytime.
Bertha-Hewitt School Targeted Services program is in place to help students get caught up in school (and stay caught up), and offer an environment that is conducive to learning, practice reading or basic math.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm in Mrs. Riewer's classroom
