WELCOME TO THE COUNSELOR’S CORNER!

Hello Everyone! My name is Courtney Roatch, and I am so happy to be back at Bertha-Hewitt for a second year! I have experience in School Counseling from Fargo Public Schools, as well as Wahpeton Public Schools. Before starting graduate school I worked as a Behavior Therapist at the North Dakota Autism Center. I graduated in May 2017 with my Masters of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from Minnesota State University Moorhead. MSUM is also where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech Language Hearing Sciences. I grew up in Forest Lake, MN in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities, and had been living in Fargo, ND for last 7 years. I currently live in Wadena. When I'm not at school, you will usually catch me at school sporting events, or watching sports! In my free time I love to craft, visit family and friends, and travel as much as I can! I cannot wait for the school year to start so I can meet all of the awesome students here at Bertha-Hewitt! If you see me around don't be afraid to stop and say Hi! Let's make this a GREAT year!
