Bertha-Hewitt would like to say ❣THANK YOU❣ to the individuals who donated at the Community Blood Drive on Friday, Sept. 24. Our goal for the drive was 35 units and we collected 39 units!
American Red Cross Donor Recruitment Coordinator Carrilyn Wiste was thrilled to see Bertha's blood drive have a successful outcome.
"Thanks so much to the donors and the school volunteers who helped make this happen. We’ve had a really difficult time collecting at or over goal recently, and when we have a national shortage, it’s vital that we make every drive count. I really appreciate that your school is on top of it and your student volunteers are so involved. You guys rock!"
Bertha-Hewitt also wants to thank Pastor Jason Knoll and the New Life Church of God for hosting the blood drive.
Mark your calendars! The next Bertha-Hewitt Community Blood Drive will be Friday, Nov. 26 from noon to 6:00 p.m. at New Life Church of God in Bertha.
